FIRST TAKE 2022 is about celebrating the works of young artists. Curated from across India, the works will be exhibited. This is ABIR’s big initiative to provide a platform and showcase the art of the generation next. Out of scores of entries, about 100 works would be picked by the eminent jury from India. The jury will select the best out of the lot and ten awards in total are awarded. The show will also bring art lovers together, with dialogues, discussions and demonstrations with senior artists, art historians, art critics, curators and investors.

Through her artwork, Tanisha Bakshi tries to depict the “Essence of their Life” representing their expectations, reality, hardship, vision, happiness, and love by using two and three-dimensional surfaces. For her, the use of this readymade material is indiscriminate and complex. She has made it an integral part of her art practice as it represents a hidden history. “Every scratch on a used thing has a story to tell. Every hole in the blanket or their cloth has a history.”

It is a photography exhibition divided into three sections: a) Wildlife b) The people of Kashmir c) Banaras The photographs would be mounted and divided into three sections- wildlife, Varanasi, and THE people of Kashmir. The sale proceeds would go towards Bal Sahyog, wildlife conservation, and legal help for needy women identified through awareness programs being carried out through my initiative Nyay Shakti.

Mint Vernissage is a proposal for a contemporary art exhibition consisting of a group of artists across the country but mainly from Rajasthan. Each artist brings in the freshness of their work highlighting different styles of art pop, charcoal, abstract & fantasy artworks. The Exhibit will start with the charcoal work of an artist who works on massive portraits with sizes ranging from 5ft by 5ft to 7 ft by 7 ft depicting attire of different cities of Rajasthan to restore culture and traditions.
